I still can’t get over the fact that left wing liberals are quoting a home office survey that showed that 99% of illegal immigrants come here because they are fleeing persecution.

As if any illegal immigrant is going to say yes we have come here for a better way of life 😂😂😂

Then the lefties say that they come here because they speak English. Well last time I travelled through Western Europe everyone’s second language was English so clearly that’s all bullshit.

And if I was fleeing persecution I’d seek refuge in the first safe place I came to not travel across Europe and then jump on a dinghy and cross the channel.

I have no issues with immigration but apply for it correctly like thousands of others have.

I see they are planing a "Minister-led review" on the immigration issue now.

This will produce a report recommending it go out for public consultation, which in turn will state that the best way forward is a series of focus groups.

Once the make-up of those focus groups is decided, they will be instructed to focus (see what I did there) on an individual beach each - they can choose, at pace, which one from a government supplied list of preferred beaches.

The output from these focus groups will be analysed and included as an appendix to the original report which will then be further reviewed in totality by a second review board (for impartiality, naturally).

Once the government themselves have then reviewed and accepted the report (redacting bits that don't suit them), it will be leaked to the media, then published on a bad news day.

It will be hailed as a complete success.

Illegal immigration will then cease; not because of any government action, but because all those who want to come to the UK will already be here.

Not sure about the Israeli 5th columnist angle, but its worth pointing out that Amin had already kicked out 30k Kenyans a few years before and singled out asians who were "british subjects" for expulsion, there is some confusion over exact numbers but many asians who had been granted Ugandan citizenship were not expelled, but chose (wisely) to leave.

Its not much talked about that when Amin's regime collapsed his successor invited the asians to return in the mid 80s, some of whom did and remain settled there.

Unless the government know that this guy was Hamas, Patel's actions stink of somebody desperate to be seen to be "doing something".

Her team have obviously gone through the Home Office "To Do" list and chosen the activity that most closely matches the news related to this bombing.

No cost to the government, either, so you can bet your arse the relevant people are high-fiving each other like mad over this "step forward".

Yeah the Ugandan Priti Patel has some form that even Theresa May (a close friend of isreal herself) had to lean on her to resign, she can't be called a traitor though as she has no obligation to have any loyalty to Britain, nor did her family have any to Uganda from which they came from after being booted out for precisely the same accusation by Idi Amin's crew.
